i got distracted. the blog page is still unfinished but the quotes page now uses a bag shuffle which should make the quotes feel slightly more interesting because now you're almost guaranteed to see all the quotes before they start to repeat. should make things feel nicer i imagine

ftr ive now built a fucked up combination of bash and nodeJS that automatically builds this website from a template and then pushes it online. theres some horrible stuff going on behind-the-scenes that would DISGUST a competent programmer. anyways i added a new album review (well a few since last time :p) so go look at that if u read this. i want to add a blog (might do that rn) to compile some of my longer-form thoughts into a nice place. yeah i think ill do that rn (probably gonna replace the writing page and move all that stuff over to the new projects page)

awawaaa new website look!! no more of that old black and white, we got some real colour going on now!!!!!!!!!!! fuck yeah. the albums section has also recieved a once-over to make it more presentable n shit.. but im really liking the colour and the new fonts and stuff and i think it looks a lot more professional. also gonna stop using hr element so much idk whats wrong with me i used that shit way too often lol

redid my website. nav bar on the top now and the web-ring and background stuff has been moved to the index page instead of being a sidebar. i like how it looks more now and its slightly more navigable i think

americans focus way too much on the freedom of speech and other various bill-of-rights-granted freedoms that they forget that they arent the ultimate signifier for true personal freedom. americans do not realize how oligarchical capitalism and car dependancy and other such things fundamentally undermine their freedom. the rich have convinced us that the freedoms we do have are the ultimate freedoms, and that the freedoms we lack are irrelevant.

just spent like an annoying amount of time turning this website from just being like 7 or whatever different pages to being a template and content pages and then using js to rebuild the website so i can use templating n stuff on the header and nav bar. took me a while and idk what im doing but in theory it should save me time in the future. i hope. whatever i guesssssssssss

just returned from an absolutely grueling road trip uggh. i mean it wasnt that bad i just went like 4 hours north and then came back but the roads were shitty and omw back i had a pretty bad headache (still do) and was kinda sleepy (did not get my eight hours the night previous). im back home though which means i could do more work on my website which is nice. i just finished the background buttons. probably the hardest thing ive done in JS so far (i havent done much in JS) cuz i had to generate random colour values and then also it uses cookies. uhh anyways thats that i guess. road trip was fun, i saw some old friends. passed by my ex's house and also my childhood home(s) which was kinda a cool throwback. signing off for now, bye!

ok hi, this works now, very cool! this will from now on (HOPEFULLY) be a sort of personal log of events as they occur to me. i will try not to go into too much personal detail unless something big happens, and ill try to keep posting to regular intervals. which would b pretty cool of me. erm anyways. did you know that the writing "erm" is actually supposed to be pronounced "um"? its a british spelling. nobody says 'erm' the way that its spelled. (unless you're specifically mocking the way that it's spelled). since this is the start of posting ill try to give a little brief snapshot of my current moment in time. its very late in the night (or early in the morning, depends on perspective) currently. tomorrow i am hopefully getting up to portland tomorrow. if i can't ill be pissed. i guess ill keep you in the loop (although nobody is reading this rn because this website wont go live for probably another week or so :p). anyways, goodnight.
